These well worn boots had not been cleaned or conditioned for many years. The surface had dried mud and was stiff. Here are some tips for treating leather boots:
We started by using a soft cloth dampened with the Leather Cleaner. With just one application the dust and dirt was removed.
The leather will appear to be slightly darker while wet, but once dry, will go back to the original color.
After the boots have air dried for several hours, they were treated with the Saddle & Tack Conditioner. This conditioner is perfect for treating the thick, heavy leather on these boots. Once the first application had dried for several hours, a second coat was applied.
The products did not leave the leather sticky or tacky, rather, the treated leather was soft and supple with a hint of a shine.
