Log and Beam Treatment™

We are excited to announce our newest product under our wood treatment solutions. Log & Beam Treatment was specifically designed for use on interior logs, beams and timbers to reduce or eliminate cracking, splitting, checking and warping caused by shrinkage as the wood dries. Great for log homes and post and beam or timber frame homes. This product also acts as a conditioner and allows the wood to breathe without trapping moisture in the wood.

End Grain Sealer

Due to many customer requests, we have added an End Grain Sealer to our line of wood products. This will slow down the drying of green wood to minimize cracking and checking.

Exterior Wood Sealer - NEW!

A sealer developed for exterior use to protect treated wood from weather. It will keep the wood stabilizer products in the wood while still allowing the wood to breathe. Exterior Wood Sealer will also help to keep your wood looking new.

Pentacryl™

IMPROVED Pentacryl - the wood stabilizer! Does not react with the tanic acids in the wood and will make your treated wood look cleaner!! Made from non-toxic and non-hazardous materials, Pentacryl stops green wood from splitting, checking and cracking. Great for any woodworker that wants to take advantage of working with green wood but not worry about the finished product splitting. Easy and safe to use. It is fast penetrating. All types of finishes and glues can be used once the Pentacryl has dried in the wood.

Wood Juice™

Wood Juice is also a wood stabilizer, however, it is specially formulated for use on dry or semi-dry wood that has a lower moisture content. It will prevent future checking and cracking and give more stability to the wood.

Many customers are now using Wood Juice for stabilizing bowl turnings that are turned thin and have less stress in the wood. Great for knife handles, pen blanks and pool cues.

Polycryl™

The wood fortifier. Do you have a piece of soft, punky, or spalted wood that you would like to turn, carve or just work with? Then give this product a try, it will strengthen the wood and make it easier to work with, especially for turners. It dries clear and will not yellow in the wood. Easy and safe to use. All types of finishes and glues can be used once Polycryl has dried into the wood.

Solvitol™

An environmentally safe solvent that will make shop clean-up a breeze but will not leave a smelly residue. This is a general cleaner that can be used as a brush cleaner and paint thinner. Solvitol is also used to wipe down wood that has been treated with Pentacryl or Wood Juice to remove any residue prior to staining, gluing or finishing.
