Saddle & Tack Conditioner

This product was developed specifically for treating and softening heavy leather items such as saddles, harnesses, and other equestrian tack. It is a deep, fast penetrating conditioner that dries quickly.

Saddle & Tack Conditioner will not leave the leather heavy, oily or dark and does not migrate or wash out once dried into the leather.

This leather conditioner is non-toxic and does not contain sulfur which can cause premature deterioration to the leather and stitching.

Many other leather conditioners are made from neutral oils such as Neats Foot Oil, Olive Oil, Mineral Oil and Vaseline and do not form a bond with the leather. These oils also leave the leather heavy and oily.

Saddle & Tack Conditioner will not build acid in the leather. Other leather conditioners are made from sulfated oils, which will build sulfuric acid in the leather and eventually cause deterioration. Our product does not contain humectants such as glycerin or glycol, which encapsulate moisture and lead to mold growth and “sticky” leather. Saddle & Tack Conditioner has an indefinite shelf life. Note: not for use on Suede.
