Q. What is the difference between the Wood Juice and Pentacryl and how do I know when to use one over the other?
A. Wood Juice is a thinner version of Pentacryl. It was developed for stabilizing dry or semi-dry wood and green wood that has been cut, carved, or turned to thin dimensions. It can also be used for wood that has a natural stability such as Basswood.

Q. Are Wood Juice and Pentacryl compatible?
A. Yes, Wood Juice and Pentacryl are compatible. Wood Juice can be used as a thinner for Pentacryl.

Q. Is Wood Juice safe to use?
A. Yes, Wood Juice is safe to use. It can also be used indoors. Wood Juice is made with a food grade high flash solvent which is not considered flammable. It is however considered combustible and proper caution should be used in it's use. Keep away from direct heat or open flame. Because of it's low VOCs and slow drying, no special exhaust is necessary, however always use common sense and proper hygiene when using the product.
Q. Can Wood Juice be used for outdoor project?
A. Although Wood Juice was not specifically developed for outdoor use, it can be used if a quality finish is applied over it before using outdoors. The Wood Juice should be applied indoors and completely dried into the wood before a finish is applied.

Q. What type of finish can I use over Wood Juice?
A. Any type of finish can be used including varnishes, urethanes, lacquers, acrylics, epoxies, and shellac. Note: Be sure that the Wood Juice is completely dried into the wood before Appling a finish.

Q. Can wood treated with Wood Juice be glued?
A. Yes, Wood Treated with Wood Juice can be glued. All types of glue will work with Wood Juice, including urethanes, Carpenter's glue, epoxies, cyanoacrylates, and hide glue. It is important to remember that the wood juice should be completely dry before gluing. If not, the Wood Juice will act as a barrier.

Q. What should I use to clean up brushes and etc. after using wood Juice?
A. Use soapy water to clean up after using Wood Juice.

Q. Can Wood Juice be used on salad bowls and eating utensils?
A. Although Wood Juice is made from non-toxic materials, it is not registered as food safe.
