What makes our leather products the best on the market?

We have over 30 years in the tanning and leather chemical business. Our products are made from the finest raw materials available. The oils are first oxidized to eliminate darkening and processed twice to remove any double bonds which can cause acid deterioration, giving the oil an anionic charge which prevents the oil from leaching out or migrating in the leather. This also keeps the oil from washing out if used on garments in the outdoors. They are then stratified to remove any remaining natural salts. Finally we buffer the oils by a special process to insure lasting life and protection to the leather. The solvents we use are food grade and do not contain sulphur which can cause rotting of stitching. Many of the leather conditioners on the market use sulfated oils which can build acid in the leather, no matter how much they are buffered. Others are made from neutral oils which leave the leather oily and dark. Our products do not contain any humectants such as glycerin which leave the leather sticky. Although it keeps the leather supple, it retains moisture which can cause hydrolyzation and mold growth under humid conditions.
